Our Story
Mirror Diaries started with frustration. When our founder James Carter looked at the beauty content available online, he noticed the same thing over and over again: gorgeous images, impossibly perfect results, and ideas that felt completely disconnected from the lives of real women. Content that looked amazing on a screen but fell apart the moment someone tried to recreate it in the real world.
He wanted to build something different. Something that felt like advice from a knowledgeable friend — honest, specific, and actually useful. That was the beginning of Mirror Diaries.
